2020 VBS PRO Enhancements

VBS PRO RELEASE NOTES
March 10, 2020
We have rolled out the following new features and enhancements for 2020. 

SUMMARY AND OVERVIEW

• Online Payment Button for Paid Events
  We reworked the Admin screen to make it easier to drop in a "Pay with PayPal" button for payment link
• Included Friend Requests in Auto-Build Crews
  We updated our logic to factor in friend requests when an admin uses the Auto-Build Crews feature.  Note: This is a VBS PRO Premium Option
• Export Job Interests Report for Volunteers
  We added the ability to view and export a list of registered volunteers with job interests to help you assign volunteers to jobs
• Registration Forms in Spanish
  Participants may now view a registration form with Spanish language fields.

We are always listening for ways to make VBS PRO more user-friendly and functional for our Friends in Ministry. Here are more detailed notes on the new improvements implemented for 2020 with screenshots.

Friend Request Enhancements

 **Friend Request feature only applies to new events created after this release (V2 events). You can identify a V2 event by the green triangle displayed in the My Events listing.

 
Auto Building crews with friend requests has just become easier!  With our latest update participants can request up to 3 friends when registering to be included in their crew. (VBS PRO Premium users only) and when you, as the director, auto build your crews friends will automatically be placed with their friend requests saving you lots of time!

As an Admin, you can see friend requests when manually building crews or, if you have a VBS PRO Premium account, friend requests will be matched when possible when you use the Auto-Build Crews feature.

Improved Payment Feature

You can now easily add PayPal button code in VBS PRO using our new and improved Payment Feature in VBS PRO.  You now can either add a URL(website address) for payment or payment button code to your registration site and upon completing registration a Participant will be able to click on a PAY NOW button that will take them directly to your payment details.

Export Job Interests for Volunteers

You are now able to view and export Volunteer Interests if you need a print-out to reference before assigning your volunteers jobs.

Registration Forms in Spanish

Participants are now able to register in Spanish without any extra work on your part.  Just look for the "Registro en español" link on your Registration Page.
