Have you recently reached capacity for your event or would you like to proactively setup a waiting list?
Great news, this guide will explain how to set that up within your VBS PRO event!
Please note you will need to upgrade to Premium for this functionality, click here to purchase the upgrade on our group.com website.
To create a Waiting List for your event, Premium will need to be active on your account and you will need to proceed in Adding Another Session.
For existing events, please click the Edit Event button located on the Manage Event - Dashboard section and scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window:
Otherwise, this may also be accomplished during the Create New Event process, by clicking on Add Another Session before building your event:
Please click Add Another Session again within the pop-up window to confirm:
Next, you will need to rename your new session to Waiting List. Please click You're Viewing Session near the top of your Dashboard section to make sure 2nd Session is selected, then proceed to click Edit Event:
Scroll down to the Session Information section, click into the Session Name field to erase what is existing and type in the words "Waiting List" and then scroll to the bottom to save by clicking Update My Event:
Please note that your original event registration is now within the 1st Session, so we recommend following the process listed above within your 1st Session to change the name to "VBS Event" or "Event" to eliminate confusion.
Registration Dates/Times for your Waiting List (2nd Session) default to the same values as your main VBS Event (1st Session), however, you are welcome to adjust those if needed within Edit Event and the Event Settings section:
Please click Update My Event if any changes were made to those settings:
Afterwards, the Waiting List should now start appearing within your public event webpage, whether or not the VBS Event (1st Session) is full yet:
Congrats, you have successfully created a Waiting List for your VBS PRO event!
Further information on Opening/Closing Registrations and the Hide buttons within that section has also been included in the article linked below:
